This is the highest tier of play offered by SCYS.

Teams competing in the Challenge Division are promoted through the league system each year to ensure highly competitive matches for all participants. The league ends with a qualifying State Cup single elimination round (top 8 teams) which leads to a semi-final and Championship.

State Cup Champions are advanced to Southern Regionals in the US Youth National Championship Series in late June.
