SCYS coaches on any roster or listed under any Club be appropriately licensed or registered to the appropriate license for the team in which they are rostered or the team in which they are engaged or the team in which they manage or administer no later than August 1st, 2022 and course to be completed by January 30, 2023.
Any coach that was previously granted a waiver by SCYSA (Technical Director) on the appropriate US Soccer license requirement for the level of play the coach was rostered prior to March 2020 will be considered exempt from compliance (grandfathered), however, all previously granted waivers are considered void if the coach becomes inactive within SCYSA, for 12 or more months. SCYSA reserves the right to mandate every coach in our state association enter the US Soccer pathway regardless of prior waivers granted by the previous Technical Director and regardless of any non-US Soccer licensure.
