WHO IS IT FOR?

To best serve the U.S. Soccer’s mission for ODP programs which identify, evaluate and develop players for the Federation’s National Team programs, the South Carolina Talent Development Program is aimed at:

  • National League Level Players (ECNL, GA, MLS Next, National 1)

Registration is not exclusively for National League Level players, and we understand that not all high performing and potential players are playing in a National League.

Please speak with your club director(s) for guidance if you are unsure of your current performance level.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

SCOPE

GOALS

Throughout South Carolina, player development is entrusted to your clubs and licensed coaches, where it is likely a player trains up to three times a week and plays in a regular games program.

We do not want to interrupt this planned process by a member club, and aim to supplement it by providing players an opportunity to learn alongside high-performing and potential players across the state and region, through training, in-state games against other SC districts, and out of state games against the likes of GA, NC, TN.

SCOPE

  1. Opportunities to participate in training and games across multiple age groups
  2. U12 - U17
  3. Opportunities to compete in multiple localities, states and regions
  4. District pools, inter-state games, sub and inter-regional games
  5. Male and female development tracks

GOALS

  1. Create a positive soccer experience that promotes friendship, fun and development
  2. Provide an opportunity to play with and against high performing soccer players from around the State and Region
  3. Facilitate an environment that promotes personal growth and success
